Glenella is a rare gem located within Blackheath, one of the more attractive villages in the upper Blue Mountains. Glenella has operated as a guesthouse for more than 100 years and today respects the history of the building while providing modern comforts.
They know that your stay enveloped in the ambience of their charming heritage guesthouse will leave you with warm feelings and a renewed appreciation of the joys of sharing and spending time in a historic building. An old world escape from hurried modern lives.
Guests can choose to stay in one of their private, charming upstairs guestrooms with en-suite bathrooms, or to stay downstairs in the boutique hostel-style accommodation. These downstairs rooms have a shared bathroom, kitchen facilities and their own guest lounge. If this is not enough, they also have one more option to stay in the Sports Bunkhouse which comprises a dorm-room suitable for outdoor enthusiasts, and also used by Camino walkers as the ‘Glenella Albergue’.
Free Wifi is available throughout the guesthouse.
Note: They endeavour to provide a relaxed environment for guests to enjoy the unique Blue Mountains Guesthouse experience. For this reason they do not cater for young children and babies.
