Kurrara Historic Guest House

Built in 1902, Kurrara Historic Guest House is recognised as the longest continually running guest house in Katoomba. Back then, Kurrara was run by Mrs. Wilkins, the proprietress as a 'first class establishment' and travellers could stay for the princely sum of six shillings per night. Kurrara is a beautiful heritage house offering eight guest rooms and a glimpse into the past. The peaceful and relaxing ambience offers visitors a chance to unwind in a turn of the century residence, with all the modern comforts. Conveniently located midway between Katoomba Town Centre and Echo Point, Kurrara is surrounded by mature gardens, in a quiet street away from traffic noise but within walking distance to popular restaurants and famous bushwalks.
